This project for Interaction Design students concerned a general topic of Technological Disobedience. We worked with stakeholder Phil Mills at Moray Wastebusters about the impact our product usage has. We also spoke with stakeholders from Moray Wellbeing Hub (for mental health), and Thomas Pocklington Trust (for Visual Impairment) which provided the context of the projects. The students worked through co-design processes and spoke to people in their stakeholder groups to find opportunities. This was an 8-week group project to enable a practical application of the research methods and design innovation process for this course. The content was delivered online this year and the students successfully created engagement tools, conducted interviews and workshops, and designed initial prototypes.
